French School Holidays in Aquitaine

The school calendar for Aquitaine: when schools of south west France close for vacations and the children are on holiday. The calendar includes the dates of summer holidays, half-term, the spring break and the Christmas break.

Note: From the start of the 2006-2007 school year some pre-primary and primary schools in certain départements have chosen to do away with school on Saturday in favour of a new weekly schedule. These schools may have a slightly different school calendar and reduced holidays in order to make up the extra time.
